General Kitten Information
Our cats are bred first for health and temperament, then type and colour. The health of mother and babies is of paramount importance.Kittens are born in our bedroom where I can keep a constant eye on them throughout the night. After their first couple of weeks they move into their specially made kitten box in our kitten room. While in here, mum can be let out to socialise with the rest of the household, and have a break from the babies. When they are old enough this room is safe enough for them to fully explore.Gradually the babies are introduced to the rest of the family and the house so that they become used to household noises, visitors and the other cats. This means that by the time a kitten leaves us, they will be happy, confident, and well socialised.
Kittens are only available to indoor, permanent, loving homes, as pets, or for showing. Please mention to me when you make your enquiry if you intend to show your cat, so I can help you find the right baby for you. Kittens will not usually be available on the active register. This means that you may not breed from your kitten, and if you do, none of the progeny will be able to be registered.
None of our kittens will leave us before they are thirteen weeks of age, possibly older if we feel it is necessary.
We run a waiting list for kittens, so even if we have none available at the moment, you are welcome to register your interest with us.Please see our planned litters for details of future pregnancies. Please be aware that we do not accept every enquiry as a
suitable kitten home, and we do ask plenty of questions to make sure every baby that leaves us goes to a perfect new family.Siamese and Oriental cats are not for everyone – they are extremely demanding, and we also want to make sure that you don’t end up regretting your decision. The next stage is for me to send you a copy of our kitten agreement. This is to give you plenty of time to have a read through, and make sure that you are happy with the content, and are aware of what we expect from new kitten families.
We keep prospective families updated on pregnancies and births.Once kittens are old enough for visitors, you can confirm your choice. At this point we will require a non-refundable £100 deposit to reserve your kitten.
