Ollie – Chrestomanci Made For Me (Oolong)
Ollie continues to love food, all food. We give him raw food and Royal Canin mostly, but also cooked chicken and cooked fish. He is very energetic. He is gradually learning to be trained. He seems to like best of all the 4-5 litter boxes, the one with grit in the lower WC that Kato uses. It's in the coldest place in the flat so I'm surprised he likes it. I am also surprised that he seems to prefer grit to wood chips.
As I wrote earlier, he is exploring the rest of the house. He sits on the window sill in the living room and makes sounds when he sees birds and other things. He gets very excited when he hears Richard come and go and runs down to greet him.
Other than litter-box training he is perfect as I said: he plays enthusiastically. He plays mainly with the toy with a string and a feather at the end.
He sleeps well (with Richard). We have given him new toys, including one today like his favourite toy (which is now feather-less). Yesterday as a result of a visit by a friend with 3 boys age 15 to 8, he had non-stop play and attention for several hours. He has a great deal of energy.
Ollie is, I think, a very happy cat and was raised with a lot of love. He really enjoys cuddling and goes off briefly but really prefers to be held. (Sometimes I type with one hand or wash dishes while holding him with one hand). At other times, he's happy if we are in the room with him to sit by the radiator.
I'm not sure he knows his name yet, but he knows when we are calling him.
