It’s hard to know where to start with this little girl.   I was smitten from the first time I first saw her pictures.   I couldn’t believe my luck when Kat offered her to me as a foundation queen.   I was almost counting the hours until she could come home from the time she was a couple of weeks old.

Princess Tortoiseshell – as she is also known is such a credit to Kat’s breeding and raising of babies.   She is happy, confident and outgoing.   She is so sure of herself that she can have quite a swear at me if things don’t exactly go her way.   I can tell already that she is going to be a handful to have around, but I wouldn’t swap her for the world.   My beautiful baby girl has such an expressive face and voice, and a hugely affectionate nature that despite being similar to having a small destructive tornado in the house, she is very rarely actually in trouble.

I have been absolutely thrilled with how Phoenix has taxen to motherhood.  She had a huge first litter of seven babies, to our own Valentine.  The Teas were a total delight from the minute they were born until they left home.  All apart from Da Vinci that is, who is staying here as our first home-bred Chrestomanci girl.
